The Princeton Tigers will seek to continue their home court advantage when they face the UMBC Hounds in the non-conference matchup on Monday. The Tigers (8-3) returned to the field after not participating in the game due to the coronavirus last season, and their home record this year is 5-0. The Hounds (5-4) struggled on the road, losing four in five games, and are looking for their first ever victory over the Tigers. Princeton had won the previous three games. The last game was the Tigers' 68-56 victory on December 2, 2003.

The game at Jadwin Gym in Princeton, New Jersey is scheduled to start at 6 pm Eastern Time. UMBC averaged 78.3 points per game, while Princeton averaged 79.4 points. Also powering the Tigers is junior guard Ryan Lamborgh, who scored 8 points and 2 rebounds in Saturday's victory over Lafayette. He has reached double digits eight times throughout the year, including a season-high 18 points against Fairleigh Dickinson. Lamborgh averaged 12.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1 steal per game. He also has a 48.9% shooting percentage, including 45.5% three-pointers and 84.6% free throws.

Only two players on the Hounds averaged double figures, but nine players averaged more than 5 points per game. Senior guard Kendall Kennedy is among the best on the team, averaging 14.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.2 steals per game. His shooting percentage was 49.5%, including 43.6% from three-pointers and 77.8% from free throws. In a 98-67 victory over the Americans on November 23, he scored a season-high 21 points.

Veteran guard Darnell Rogers performed well, reaching double digits in seven of the nine games, including each of the past five games. His best game was to score 23 points in a 91-75 victory over West Carolina on November 19. He will score 11 points and 5 assists in the Georgetown game on Wednesday. This year, Rogers averaged 12.8 points, 4 assists, 2.2 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game.
